Reports To The Senior Vice President, Marketing
SUMMARY
The client is
the leading provider of managed business intelligence solutions for the healthcare

The Senior Director of Payer Product
Marketing is responsible for leading and executing the product marketing activities for
the company's solutions for the healthcare payer market. This key, strategic position
requires that the person in this role work at the company's San Francisco Bay Area
headquarters.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Conduct market, customer and competitive research
- Primary research, including focus groups and surveys
- Secondary research
- Develop market requirement documents for all payer
solutions
- Develop roadmaps for all payer solutions
- Recruit and manage payer product marketing managers
- Create content for marketing communications
pertaining to payer solutions:
- Marketing collateral (brochures, data sheets)
- White papers
- Executive briefs
- PowerPoint presentations
- Press releases
- Case studies
- Articles
- Working with Sales, Marketing Communications and
Inside Sales, develop and execute integrated multi-channel campaigns targeting the payer
market
- Develop and manage payer solution demo site(s)
- Write demo scripts
- Train sales representatives and staff from other
functional areas
- Write inside sales scripts
- Serve as a company spokesperson and representative at
events
- Provide sales support
Skills, Experience and
Education
- A minimum of three years of product marketing,
product management and/or product development experience in the healthcare industry
- Superlative writing skills are required
- Facility with MS Office applications required
- A minimum of three years management experience
leading teams of at least three individuals
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, carrying
out multiple concurrent tasks
- A minimum of five years experience in the healthcare
payer market
- Demonstrated self-initiative, self-direction
- Experience marketing, selling and/or recommending
software and/or Web-based solutions
· Bachelor's degree required, MBA degree preferred
